Diagnosed with cervical cancer April 2014, after undergoing intensive chemotherapy, brachytherapy and radiotherapy treatment, Alex was diagnosed with terminal cancer in March this year.
Due to the restrictions of the NHS, Alex and her family have been forced to research alternative treatments for her illness. Alex has the opportunity to access immunotherapy treatment which is a treatment that helps the body fight cancer cells by recognising the cells as imposers.
